ON-LINE CATALOG AUCTIONS (through electronic devices):

By registering to bid and/or submitting any bid, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions of Sale. This is a legal and binding contract. We thank you for your interest and participation. 

Merchandise Offered

ALL items are sold AS IS | WHERE IS | WITHOUT WARRANTEE OR GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and bid according to your own expertise.

Preview is 9 – 12 pm on Saturday prior to each auction and it is recommended that you do so or you can schedule a preview appointment.

Terms and conditions are located on the on-line auction registration bidding platform.

Invoicing Winning Bidders: We make every effort to notify successful winning bidders with in the hour following the end of the auction.  Please see the auction terms and conditions on the online bidding platform for each auction. (check inbox, spam, trash, junk… folders)

Payment is due within 72 hours of closure of the auction. We reserve the right to charge the credit card submitted the full invoice amount if a bidder has not paid within 3 days of the auction.

Purchases Removal or Pick Up. No item may be removed, released or will be shipped until full payment has been made. All items must be removed from auction house by first Thursday.  Friday and forward you will be subject to a $5 per day/per item storage fee. All shipping, packing, and handling costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Scheduled Merchandise pick-up hours.  Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 4pm.  24 hours notice expected. Please call ahead to verify auction or office hours before stopping by calling (856) 467-4834. Daily schedule is subject to change without notice.

The Auction record kept by Auctioneer and Clerk is final. The highest bidder for each lot shall be the buyer, and if any dispute arises as to any bidding, or between two or more bidders, the auctioneer will have sole discretion to determine outcome of auction of item.

Absentee/Phone Bids. South Jersey Auction accepts Absentee, and Telephone (live) bidding for our auctions.  This a legal and binding contract.  All Absentee and Telephone bids are executed in a competitive manner and have an equal chance of being successful as on-the-floor bids, yet do not take precedence over any bidding method.  Absentee and Telephone bidding is a courtesy we offer for the convenience of our customers. Although we make every effort to execute your bid(s), South Jersey Auction is not liable for any errors, omissions or other.  Telephone bids maybe available on a first-come, first-served basis. Telephone bidders are also urged to provide a maximum back-up bid if the bidder is unreachable at the time the item comes up for sale.  We make every effort to notify successful Absentee and Telephone bidders on next day following the auction.

Payment. Live On-Sight Auctions purchases must be paid for the night of the auction if the bidder is attending the auction.   All successful Absentee and Telephone bids items must be paid for and picked up and/or have shipping arrangements made by 4:00 p.m. eastern the following Thursday of the auction. We reserve the right to charge the credit card submitted the full invoice amount if a bidder has not paid within 3 days of the auction.

Buyers Premium and Sales Tax. The 20% Buyer's Premium will be added to each successful bid.  If buyer pays via credit card or debit card a 3% courtesy fee will be applied.  NJ State Sales Tax of 6.625% will be applied to each sale, including the buyer's premium, unless exempted by law. If exempt, you must present prior to auction your valid tax exemption number via ST3 or ST3N form.
